X Factor winner Ben Haenow is the latest industry professional to join our well respected panel of judges, in turn becoming the second member (along with Aston Merrygold) who has gone on to great things since their final appearance on the show. Next Gen provides up and coming musical talent with a platform to get their music in front of a range of high profile people working in a variety of roles across the business.
Having been crowned the winner of 2014’s X Factor, Ben hasn’t rested on his laurels. Performing duets with Kelly Clarkson, Queen and Ed Sheeran, Ben went on to release his platinum selling number one single ‘Something I Need’ - which charted across the world and reached Christmas number one.
Ben’s self titled debut album was hugely successful, breaking into the UK top ten album chart as well as receiving certified gold sales in the UK and a number of other countries. A string of arena tours over the past 3 years then followed - becoming a prelude to the release of Ben’s highly anticipated second album which is set to release in February of next year.
“I was honoured to be asked to be involved as a judge. The Next Gen competition is set to inspire young musicians and performers who want to take things to the next level. Its also a step in the right direction for young people who want to get their music heard by industry professionals, with the added opportunity to win studio time. I think it's a great idea!” Ben Haenow, Singer and 2014 X Factor winner
This is a great chance to get your music in front of a hugely successful artist currently working in the industry.
