Looking for Singer/Lyricist to write and record jazz lead.

Collaboration Project

Project Description

Hello everyone,

I am looking for a female lyricist & writer to write lyrics and record herself to my backing track.

I have already written the melody and I would like a female singer preferably to write the lyrics of the songs (3 verses required), record them and then send them back over. Harmony lines are also required, at least a couple.

As far as lyrical directions are concerned, you can feel free to express yourself as long as you stay in line with the melody. That said the melody is a guide line only and you can do variations if you would like to.

Files enclosed are a WAV file of the backing track (94 BPM):

One bar of blank, the following 12 are the melody guide, then you have 36 bars to do the three verses. This is definitely not the final arrangement and would only like the lead vocal and harmonies to be recorded. I also put a link to a couple reference tracks.

I am also happy to send the multitrack over (recorded in Logic X) if you wish to.
I will accept the files to be sent over in its original DAW (Ableton, ProTools or Logic) or as WAV files (24bits, 44.1kHz).

Thank you, feel free to contact me for further enquiries.

“Managing the wealth of exceptional briefs that come through from our sub publishers isn't an easy task. With a dedicated network like this, the stress and frustration is not an issue any more. I've been waiting for a professional A&R system like this for years, I'm so glad it's now a reality - and more to the point, I've got one.”

“Tracking the progress of these projects and the individual processes are essential, and managing my network as a whole is top priority. With Music Gateway I have my own closed network that I control, so I can make this happen in a much more effective way, saving myself heaps of time”

“The unique tool for adding timeline feedback to audio and video is awesome, I'm super impressed with what they have created. Not to mention, with their open marketplace, we're also able to find remixers, session musicians and of course track down new emerging talent. I can't wait to see what's next!”
